Advertising Costs are setup by an Administrator within your company. Costs can be broken out across Agency Compensation, Production, and Delivery Costs. Each cost can represent either a high level roll-up of costs, or you can setup individual itemized costs.
Create New Costs
You must be an Administrator to create Costs
Click on your company name in the upper right corner of Bionic.
Click on the Administration option
Click on the Costs Columns tab
Press the Add New Costs button
Cost Name: Enter a descriptive name (this is what the user will see when adding costs to their campaigns).
Type: Identify the type of Cost it represents (this cannot be edited later).
Production: Costs that are added to the Net Media Cost to calculate the Total Media Cost.
Agency Compensation: Your agency's commission, added to Net Media Cost to calculate the Total Media Cost
Delivery: Costs related to the delivery of the ads, such as Ad Serving fees. These are added to the Total Media Cost to calculate the Total Cost.
Cost Method: Select the Cost Method this Cost should use (this cannot be edited later). If you need additional Cost Methods added, contact Bionic Customer Support.
Currency: Select the applicable default currency for this Cost (can be changed for individual campaigns and placements)
Rate: If desired, enter a default rate that will automatically pull in when this Cost is selected (can be changed for individual campaigns and placements)
Overage Buffer: For Delivery Costs only - Enter the default % if desired (can be changed for individual campaigns and placements)
Once saved, users can then add these Cost to Advertisers' default settings and Campaign settings.
