When you first create a campaign, the media plan will start with a single blank placement. As you build out the details, you can continue to add placements in a few different ways. This may include adding new blank placements, packages, or roadblocks, or using the clone function to generate like placements that can be changed to reflect differences.
Adding Placements
There are 2 methods for adding blank placements to you plan.
First, you can click on the Add Placement button at the top of the plan.
Alternatively, you can click on the Action icon next to any existing placement and select Add Placement.
See Manually Adding Placement Details to Media Plan to learn about populating your placement details.
Clone Placement
Cloning is useful when you have multiple placements against the same program. With cloning, you can duplicate an existing placement as to simply change the attributes that are different.
You can clone an existing placement by clicking on the Action icon next to any existing placement and select Clone Placement. It will copy all line item details to the new placement.
You can also clone a placement or multiple placements at once by selecting the line item(s) and clicking the Clone button located above the media plan. For more information on cloning multiple placements click here.
Removing Placement
You can delete an existing placement line item by clicking on the Action icon for that line item and selecting Delete Placement.
Another way to delete an existing placement or multiple placements is to select the line item(s) and click the Delete button located above the media plan. For more information on batch deleting placements click here.
