Integrations create the connection between Bionic and the data sources you will be receiving performance data from. Performance data will be the actual results for each placement you are running.
Integrations can be set up for data sources such as Google DCM, Google Ads, Facebook, or even data sent from 3rd parties (there are nearly 50, and more can be added upon request). Data sources can encompass any type of performance tracking (digital, broadcast, print, coupons, etc), and offer a variety of transmission options based on the data source.

Structure of Integrations
One Integration must be created for each data source you use. Within the campaign, you then must specify all integrations it will be using in order for data to be loaded to the placements.
Specific integrations can be set up and managed at the Organization level, in the the Administration area. You can also add integrations on-the-fly directly from Advertisers and Campaigns.

When working within an advertiser, you can identify which integrations are applicable to this advertiser. Integrations set in the advertiser will automatically carry forward in new campaigns created under the Advertiser. They can be changed at the campaign level.

When working within a specific campaign, you will specify which integrations are applicable to this campaign, overriding anything that may have carried forward from the Advertiser settings.
Each campaign must have all applicable integrations identified in order to include data source IDs or download templates.

Types of Integrations
Integrations are all currently 1 direction - inbound. Depending on the data source, Bionic can receive data 1 of 4 possible ways. See instructions for specific data sources to learn which options are available.

API Connection (Currently only available for Facebook)
Through an API connection, you will be able to authenticate your credentials directly through Bionic and enable performance data to automatically pass through to Bionic. Updates via API are daily.
Automatic Daily Update
These are processed as a daily report that gets automatically uploaded to Bionic. Data sources that support emailing a scheduled attached CSV report to a 3rd party can typically support this automated method. Updates are daily.
You must do a 1-time "adapter" set up for each account to enable the connection. See instructions for your specific data source.
Data sources that support this method can also support Manually Uploaded Reports.
Manually Uploaded Report
This method will enable you to run a CSV report from the source platform and upload to Bionic. Any platform that provides a CSV report that contains a Unique ID, Date, and performance metrics can be set up to support this method.
In this scenario, you will download a template with the respective placements and manually input the results. This option is most commonly used when receiving data from a 3rd party such as e-newsletter or broadcast. It can also be used when a data source does not provide the reporting required to upload.
All data sources support this method.
